I can't believe it - I'm in Milan! Aunt Georgia is taking a huge chunk of her vacation to take me on a tour of the country - I can't believe how beautiful it is. And just when you think you couldn't possibly look at another ornate cathedral, I arrive at one more beautiful than the last! But, that's Italy, right? Churches, museums…spaghetti. And now here I am, in the fashion capital of the country! I guess I kind of expected this city to be like an issue of Vogue come to life - but it's really more like a pretty version of New York. Fast paced, full of people in elegant business suits, rushing to make their lunch meetings. It's amazing… for the first time in my life, I'm not one of those people, struggling to cram as much productivity as possible into one day. It's made me more confident than ever that I made the right choice. I know that when I start at Harvard, I'll bring a whole world of experiences with me that I couldn't get from any book. And as much as I miss you all… I think I needed to get away from home to find that.
