Okay, so I've been in Italy for like 6 months or something and this is my first trip to the capital. How incredibly lame is that? So Cetta and I went with a group of her friends on a trip to see the sites! It was so great to be around a whole group of people my own age that I'm starting to get to know. It's amazing, but I actually am starting to feel like I have friends here. Not that there aren't a few language barriers... (I told this one adorable guy that he had nice toes when I meant to tell him he had nice shoes!) But in spite of that, I'm getting along with everyone. You know me... always a people person! Anyway Rome is beautiful; I could tell you all about the architecture and the paintings and the streets and the town but you're probably getting bored of all that! But suffice it to say I haven't met a corner of this country that I don't like. I can't believe how soon I have to go home-- I still feel like there's so much I haven't seen. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The good news is --- I'll be coming home for graduation!!!! I can't wait to see all of you! I'm probably going to come back here afterwards to spend the summer here, too. Everyone here is talking about all the crazy things to do around here in the summertime... Maybe you guys can come visit me!!
Anyway see you in a few weeks!
Love,
Andie
