Hi again. Okay geography aces… I know that Florence, where I'm staying, is part of Tuscany! (I'm not that clueless about my surroundings!) But Aunt Georgia took me to spend some quality time exploring Tuscany outside of Florence. We spent the whole day driving through the Maremma hinterland and the countryside around Siena. The big drama was that our car broke down a few miles outside of town… and though I heard that Europe had much better quality cell phone service, we managed to travel into the one corner of Europe that was out of range. We had to flag down a vegetable truck to drive us to a place where we could call the Italian version of AAA. Amazingly enough Aunt Florence remained undaunted and we got right back in our vehicle and took about a thousand photographs (Dawson, you'd be proud!!). My aunt suggested I keep a travel journal… but then I realized… this is my travel journal! I miss everyone!
